Hi, today I’m going to teach you how to draw a manga comic book.
Manga is just basically a japanese graphic novel.
It’s just like a normal comic book except it’s all black&white and you need to read in backwards (left to right). Most mangas are based on anime.
What you need to do first is make a cover.
You can draw a picture that will draw people’s attention (not in a weird way).
Then you need to make a page that shows characters.
Then you need to draw a picture and draw some sound effects.
You need to make speech bubbles. But you don’t need to color it.
These tips will help to make a great manga comic book. Please show me your work. I would love to see it.
Personally, my favorite manga is called Fairy Tail. It’s based on wizards.
The reason why I like this manga is because it’s based on anime, so we can watch it on TV. And because the background is Medieval times.
THe main character of the story is called Natsu.
Natsu is a dragon slayer, but tha’ts not because he slays dragons.
He was raised my a fire dragon, and his magics are strong as a dragon.
This weekend we are welcoming a group of 43 students from Korea for a one month camp! Our teachers are all prepared and ready for the month! The kids will be travelling to Toronto, Niagara Falls and Canada's Wonderland!
I am very excited to finally be moving. We are moving to a much larger space which will allow NLA to offer bigger classrooms, more activities and events for our students!
Niagara Learning Academy is offering a 4 day camp program for March Break. The camp is educational based and for children who are either ESL learners or needing improvement in Reading/Writing skills. $20.00 per day!
Summer Day Camps will be running in July and August (Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm). These day camps will be a combination of fun activities, outings and learning. The students will participate in experiments, crafts, building exercises as well as many other unique activities. We will have theme weeks, including western, space, world travelers and Canada. During our theme weeks our activities and educational work will focus on those specific topics. In addition to participating in fun activities, students will also be taught lessons in English (grammar, reading, writing and vocabulary), science, geography, French and history. Students will be separated into their grades and levels for all educational lessons.
Our tutors have finished writing their progress reports and they are all ready to get handed out. You will be receiving your child's progress report next week.
Alex – Alex has been working with Niagara Learning Academy since the summer. We have been working on improving his English. His reading level and writing ability have both improved a lot since starting! He is now writing detailed sentences and paragraph stories. Keep it up!
Niagara Learning Academy provides academic help to children and adults. We also offer FREE children classes, art classes and many more programs.
